The Symbifox Policy module describes the fleet. Common rules apply to everyone, exceptions to whoever needs them.

Machines in service reread their record once a day and apply what changed.

Apps follow the list

Add an app to the record and it installs. Remove it and it disappears from the machines.

Cut off a machine in one click

A revoked machine is cut off at its next sync and cannot enrol again.

Rights checked again every time

Removing someone from the authorized group is enough: their machines keep the last record received, but get no new one.

Each machine has its own identity

At installation, the machine receives an identity of its own. Symbifox keeps only a fingerprint of it.

The installation file comes from the same record

The installer asks your Symbifox for it: there is no second configuration to maintain.

Two Symbifox modules, published and readable

Policy describes the fleet and hands each machine its configuration. Zero-Touch Install serves the file the installer reads at boot.

Their code is published under the Business Source License 1.1: you can read it, audit it and use it for your own organization.
